Typography & Research
Imagine, for instance, that there is a gorgeous old typeface you want to digitalise but first you need to research it and you do not have the time. Don’t worry, I can do the research for you. Maybe you are looking for a modern style typeface but are not sure exactly what that means, we can figure it out together.
Perhaps you need to find out something bizarre, like the common style for typefaces in frozen pizza packages in Canada, but you don’t know where to begin. I do and I will!
Maybe you have some work which needs an assessment in legibility, such as a school project (legibility is not just for airports or motorways). Or you need to be sure your typeface choice is appropriate for a magazine, a book or any other imaginable situation.
Any other issues related to type design and type applications, we will figure them out together!
Design
I could also help you with your new book or magazine, or redesign the one you already have, always keeping in mind what your needs are for each specific situation, not just with the assesment but also with the design, layout, typesetting etc…
Events
If you need to organize any kind of event related to graphic design, typeface design, or any other graphics, such as talks, exhibitions, awards or design walks,I can help you with the content, organisation of the event, even liaising with designers…
